Speaker Biography

Rui-Qing Ma received his Ph.D. in Chemical Physics in 2000 from the Liquid Crystal Institute, Kent State University. He joined Honeywell in April 2005, taking on responsibility for developing strategic technology platforms with the focus on displays, sensors and printed electronics. Prior to joining Honeywell, he worked for Corning Inc. for six years as a senior research scientist specializing in photonic devices and flat panel displays. He spent the summer of 1998 at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center as a student intern working on liquid crystal displays.
