Speaker Biography

Abdul Guefor is Director of Intel Capital's Mobility team for Western Europe. This team seeks out investment opportunities which enable or improve mobile device usage models and technologies. Focus areas include wireless technologies 3G, HSDPA, WiMAX, adaptive radios, novel displays and mobile content discovery and delivery. In 2005, the Intel Capital Mobility team led by Abdul, completed 4 new investments, 1 follow-on investment; and realised 1 profitable portfolio company sale.
Before joining Intel in 1999, Abdul spent seven years with PricewaterhouseCoopers Transaction Support. Before PwC, Abdul was a design engineer for Plessey Semiconductors and a researcher at Ikerlan R&D centre, Spain.
Abdul is a Chartered Accountant and holds an honours degree in Electronic Engineering.
