Carnival Corporation's Global Experience & Innovation team has created the world's first experience Internet of Things that connects a wearable device to a network of sensors and readers across a cruise ship. Available today on five cruise ships, the ecosystem delivers enhanced personalization at scale and maximizes guest experience by aligning the products, services and experiences that are most relevant with each guest's preferences based on their location. This session will explore the design philosophy and techniques employed in bringing experiences enabled by the ecosystem to life.

Everybody loves a vacation and Kyle Prestenback's sole focus is to enrich the guest experience for millions of holiday-goers every year.
As Vice President of Design and Development for the Global Experience & Innovation team within the Carnival Corporation, Prestenback has spent the past four years designing, developing and deploying the world's first experience Internet of Things across the Princess Cruises fleet as well as other experiential products that enhance ocean vacations.
The Carnegie Mellon grad and experienced technologist previously worked at The Walt Disney Company leading innovation projects for the Interactive, Studio, Home Entertainment, and Theme Park divisions.
