Speaker Biography (Arpad W. Imre)
After completing his master studies in physics Arpad Imre joined the doctoral school of the University Debrecen (Hungary) and then in 2000 he received a Ph.D. degree in solid state physics. From 2000 he worked as a scientific co-worker at the University Münster (Germany). In 2008 he joined the Corporate Sector Research of Robert Bosch Group. His scope of work firstly included the technical lead of the pre-development of energy storage systems considering their integrity in the drive train of the battery electric vehicles. Then he coordinated the electrothermal and mechanical design of a dual-cell battery within FP7 project SuperLIB. In 2012, he joined the Bosch Engineering GmbH (Germany) where he is responsible for rechargeable energy storage technology assessment.
