If you already have access, please [Login] Access is available via an IDTechEx Market Intelligence Subscription Speaker Biography (Steve Sinton)Dr. Sinton is a Lockheed Martin Technical Fellow at the LM Space Systems Company, Advanced Technology Center, Palo Alto, CA. He currently leads a group of R&D professionals engaged in the design and synthesis of advanced materials, with emphasis on nanomaterials for electronic, sensing, and structural aerospace applications. Some of their recent focus areas include carbon nanotube synthesis and devices, graphene and modified films, and nanometal particles. In prior years he worked on materials failure analysis, with expertise in polymer and energetic material chemistries, and the development of spectroscopic tools for analysis of complex materials. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin in 1987, Dr. Sinton worked for Exxon at their Production Research facility in Houston, Tx, where he studied complex fluids such as surfactant microemulsions for applications in enhanced oil recovery. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of California, Berkeley.
