Speaker CV

Craig Cruickshank founded cintelliq in 2002 in recognition that as basic research in organic semiconductors moves from the research laboratories towards early commercialisation it is imperative that organisations with a vested interest in the technology have access to sufficient industry information.

cintelliq focuses on providing publications on the commercial and technology developments of the industry such as — the OSA Direct newsletter and the Organic Semiconductor Patent Analyst. cintelliq is also responsible for the annual Organic Semiconductor Conference.

Craig has spent much of his career identifying, selecting, acquiring and exploiting new technologies. This includes gaining first-hand industry knowledge and experience of the challenges in commercialising organic light emitting polymers whilst working for Cambridge Display Technology the inventors of light-emitting polymers. Craig also worked for one of the world's leading technology management consultants Cambridge Consultants (Arthur. D. Little) where he was directly involved in providing strategic and operational advice to clients dealing with the commercialisation and impact of emerging technologies. Key experience gained —developing technology and product roadmaps; technology intelligence; technology due diligence and reviewing strategic and operational options of R & D groups. Prior to working in consulting Craig spent two years at the Manufacturing Engineering Group (University of Cambridge) where he focused on developing tools and techniques for auditing technology management processes.

Craig holds a BSc in Physics, MSc. Digital Systems and an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Company Profile

cintelliq is an independent limited company that provides information services and strategic consultancy to the emerging organic semiconductor industry. cintelliq delivers analysis based on facts, not on opinion.

As basic research in organic semiconductors moves from research laboratories towards early commercialisation it is essential that any organisation with a vested interest in the technology has access to reliable industry information. This information must be of a quality, timeliness and depth to enable organisations to make informed decisions for successful commercialisation. cintelliq was established in 2002 in order to collect, analyse and disseminate this information.

cintelliq now provides a range of services which address the needs of individuals and organisations with an interest (direct or indirect) in the development of technologies and applications across the whole of the organic semiconductor industry.

The cintelliq team divides its time between
  • monitoring and tracking commercial and technology developments
  • attending exhibitions and conferences
  • conducting independent research
  • codifying its analysis

cintelliq delivers the results of this research via
  • the world's leading newsletter on organic semiconductors: Organic Semiconductor Analyst Direct
  • a series of reports, including the respected Organic Semiconductor Patent Analyst which provides comprehensive analysis of relevant patent applications in Europe, Japan and the US
  • consulting services, including technology intelligence, competitor review and patent analysis
