Speaker Biography (Laurent Montes)Dr. Laurent Montès holds the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Université de Grenoble. He is Associate Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble (Grenoble INP), Director of the International Summer School on Advanced Microelectronics (MIGAS®) and Research Program Officer in charge of MicroNanoTechnologies. His research interests at the Institute of Microelectronics (IMEP-LAHC) within the Minatec Innovation Centre, include MEMS and NEMS for energy harvesting and biomedical applications, with a specific focus on piezoNEMS sensors and nanogenerators for autonomous systems. He is author or co-author of more than 100 journal or conference peer-reviewed papers, and holds 1 international patent.
