Company Profile

A spin-out from The Dow Chemical Company, Aveso has developed breakthrough printed electronic display technology that makes it practical for the first time to integrate displays into high-volume, ISO-compliant card applications. Aveso displays place reader functionality directly on the card itself, enabling a range of easy-to-use, affordable cardbased solutions for the financial, security and enterprise markets. Unlike standard glassbased LCD displays, which are too thick and too fragile for card integration, Aveso's plastic displays are packaged in an inlay format half the thickness of a standard credit card. The company's display devices are designed for integration into the global card manufacturing base and can be scaled cost-effectively in the hundreds of millions to billions of units.
