Speaker Biography (Neil Graddage)

Neil Graddage graduated with a masters degree in Physics from Exeter University in 2008. His interest in nanotechnology led to a masters thesis investigating chemical doping, noise characteristics and temperature dependence of graphene nanostructures. He proceeded to join the Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating to investigate the commercialisation of nanotechnology research by studying for a PhD focussing on the use of carbon nanotubes as a material for functional printing. During this time he has also investigated the use of solution processing methods of producing graphene thin films.
