Presentation Summary

In this presentation we will compare the reliability of a conventional manufactured (soldered) Super TO-247 to a fully (Ag) sintered STO-247. The parts were either soft-soldered or sintered using Alpha® Argomax® material and went through power-cycling. The changes in both Rth and micro-structure were closely monitored and showed a highly increased reliability of the sintered devices.
