John K. Stevens, Chairman. John has over 30 years of entrepreneurial business experience and has founded, or was instrumental in, early stage development of four technology-based companies. all sold or still in business today with successful international products. The most recent, a Healthcare company, Visible Genetics Inc. (VGIN), specialized in DNA sequencing and genotyping. He served as Chairman and CEO for eight years. During his tenure as CEO, he took the company from zero to annualized revenues of $17.9 million, and over 200 worldwide employees, maintained 500 customer sites. He founded Visible Assets Inc. (2002) to address the many technical issues linked to distribution of pedigree sensitive, healthcare products. Dr. Stevens has published extensively and holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania and has held positions at the University of Pennsylvania (Associate Professor), University of Toronto (Full Professor), and was Director of the Eye Research Institute of Canada.
