In the presentation "The power of touch - Exploring the real world web" Jan Hederen at Ericsson will present discuss and demonstrate our initial findings in creating a clickable world. In the Connected Print project Ericsson together with partners have explored the opportunities, challenges and market value to combine mobile networks, smartphones and printed electronics. Speaker Biography (Jan Hederen)Jan Hederén (born 1961) is working with Ericsson since 2005. His current position is strategy manager at Development Unit Radio, which is the R&D unit for 2G, 3G and 4G networks. Jan has been part of the storytelling team for exploring new conceptual communication ad interaction based upon the fact that 90 percent of the globe is covered by mobile communication infrastructures. One key area over several years has been to investigate how we connect the organic world with the networks. This includes making an ordinary tree connected to the network and using the human body as a "wire" for digital information. Jan has also worked with projects exploring new personal devices beyond the "phone", utilizing connected windows a playground for new services. The shared targets for the concepts are to support natural and simple interaction with anything.
