Speaker BiographyThe President and co-founder of Parco Merged Media Corporation is Bertrand Dugal who has over 19 years experience in hospital administration. Mr. Dugal is also experienced in coordinating large-scale database projects, managing software development for industrial applications, and managing operations on a regional level. Prior to starting Parco, Mr. Dugal owned and operated Future Computing, Inc., a full service Information Technology provider to businesses throughout the northeast and a developer of industry specific software to the logging, lumber, and forest products industry. As well his company operated as an IT training facility offering accelerated certification training in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering, COMPTIA A+ certification, etc. as well as a testing center for Sylvan Prometric, and VUE. Other projects include joint application development of the Maine Child Welfare Information System and deployment of financial databases and emulation systems for banking. He also founded and managed PowerSearch, a consulting business that specialized in recruitment and placement of personnel in the health care industry. Mr. Dugal has an M.B.A. and B.S. in Business Management from New Hampshire College, as well as certification in Environmental Management. Mr. Dugal is a current or past member of various health care and information technology organizations including the American Hospital Association, and the New England Hospital Association, American Society for Hospital Engineers.
