ELTON is a Russian joint stock company specializing in developing and manufacturing asymmetric supercapacitors. Established in 1994 as ESMA company. In 2004 development and production of electrochemical capacitors is transferred to ELTON. Currently ELTON is one of the leaders in the supercapacitor area; its products are used not only in Russia but in some Western European countries and the United States (under SAFT brand).
