Qingtao Energy Development

The foundation of QingTao Energy Development traces back to 2002 when a research team led by Professor Cewen Nan from Tsinghua University began exploring solid-state batteries. Early breakthroughs included the development of a lithium lanthanum titanate (LLTO) electrolyte in 2006 and a lithium lanthanum zirconium oxide (LLZO) electrolyte in 2010, both of which demonstrated excellent ionic conductivity and stability. In 2014, QingTao Energy Development was officially established, focusing on the industrialization of solid-state battery technologies.
