Omnivision is in the top 3 of image sensor manufacturers. The company was acquired by Hua Capital for $1.9bn last year. Omnivision is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA and completed its IPO in July 2000. The company has shipped more than 5.7 billion image sensors in total.

InVisage Technologies

InVisage is a pioneer in hybrid CMOS image sensors. The company is based in Menlo Park, CA and has received over $100m in funding.
