Sono Motors

Sono Motors is a German company that develops and integrates photovoltaic bodywork into various vehicle segments, to provide additional power generation. Sono Motors had attempted to produce a solar-powered car, the Sion, but shut the project down in February 2023 due to funding challenges. IDTechEx spoke with Sono Motors at BUS2BUS to learn more about its pivot into solar bodywork.
