SouthWestSensor Limited (SWS) is a start-up company spun out from the University of Southampton UK. SWS is targeted to provide breakthrough microfluidic based sensor platforms for continuous monitoring of chemical species in liquid. The targeted markets are healthcare sections for wearable and portable chemical sensors (monitoring of metabolites and drugs etc.) and environmental sections for monitoring of nutrients and pollutants in water (nitrate, phosphate etc.).
