A small village in Sierra Leone was equipped with small solar systems in 2017. In the collaboration between Bintumani D-SL in Berlin and the barefoot women solar engineers in Konta Line (SL), around 650 people have solar light in their homes. The infirmary also has a refrigerator for cooling the medication. Installation of a monitoring system "Karana" by soldesign for the maintenance and sustainable use of SHS. Establishment of a training centre for renewable energy.
Bintumani D-Sl is a non-profit association based in Berlin. The aim is to promote relations between projects, institutions and individuals in Sierra Leone and Germany.

Health through the use of children's surgeons and support for medical wards, help for a youth movement in waste management in Freetown, training in metal, wood and in the future in the field of (renewable) energy. Establishment and implementation of an information and training centre for renewable energies.
