Presentation Summary

LCD remains by far the dominant display technology by volume and market size, but with the advent of flexible displays, new challenges arise that determine which display technology is best suited for end-user applications. FlexEnable has developed a scalable flexible organic LCD technology on plastic that combines the attributes of low cost, reliable LCD technology with the addition of being flexible, light-weight and robust. With scalable manufacturing processes similar to amorphous silicon, display manufacturers can repurpose their underutilized fabs to make flexible OLCDs in large and small sizes.

This talk will focus on the key attributes of flexible OLCDs, how FlexEnable is bringing them to mass manufacture and the market applications that will be able to adopt flexible displays for the first time.
