IDTechEx is the world leader in providing independent global research and analysis on the development and application of printed electronics. In 2007 we have launched a new prestigious award to showcase the best in the printed electronics field. The following are the categories and three finalists, chosen by the judges. The winner in each category will be announced at the Printed Electronics 2007 Awards dinner on Tuesday, April 17th, at Jesus College, Cambridge.

 

Best Commercialization
This is the award given to an actual commercial success with an end product using printed electronics.

 

The finalists for this category are:

 > Bioident

 > InkTec Co., Ltd.

 > Menippos

 

Technical Development Materials
This award will be given to the most significant technological development in the industry over the last 24 months (March 2005- March 2007).

 

The finalists for this category are:

 > Merck Chemicals

 > Plextronics

 > Unidym

 

Technical Development Device
This award will be given to the most significant development in a manufacturing device in the industry over the last 24 months (March 2005 - March 2007).

 

The finalists for this category are:

 > Add-Vision

 > Pelikon

 > Plastic ePrint

 

Printed Electronics Champion of 2007
This award will be given to the individual who has done the most to further the industry both within the printed electronics community and externally. This award is decided by the panel of judges - no entries please.

 

The winners will be announced at the Printed Electronics Gala Dinner at Jesus College, Cambridge University – Tuesday 17th April as part of Printed Electronics Europe Conference.
