Dan Lawrence, IDTechEx

Dan Lawrence MSE, is contributing to IDTechEx as VP business development. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he received both his BSE and MSE in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. As a scientist for Flint Ink, Dan conceived the idea to use high speed printing processes to layer specially designed inks to function in RFID antenna, smart packages, and printed electronics. He was an early representative of the Auto-ID Center and was the first to demonstrate ePC class 1 tags with multiple meter read range having antenna printed with high speed processes. He has contributed to a book and several articles on printed electronics and is advising companies on how they can find opportunity in the historic merging of the printing and electronics industries.

Jamie Nielsen, XINK

James Neilson holds an Honours Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, a program based on the Harvard Business School's curriculum. He is the former owner of Canada's first Internet Coffeehouse, The Help Wanted Cafe and the former VP Finance of a rapidly growing Canadian retail chain, Promised Land Imports, that increased in size fourfold under his guidance. He has several years experience in recruiting high technology sales and development professionals in Toronto and Ottawa through his own company, the IT Ronin Group. James brings a proven record of helping to grow small companies into larger ventures. He has worked with Xink laboratories and its parent company Information Mediary Corporation since inception.

Gerald Steinwasser, Mühlbauer

Gerald Steinwasser is the General Manager of Mühlbauer, Inc. , a subsidiary of German Mühlbauer AG, and thus responsible for the activities throughout the Americas. Gerald has been with the company for more than seven years and has been focusing the last years mainly on the bare die applications related to RFID and high-speed flip chip die sorting.
Prior to Mühlbauer, Gerald has been already working in the US for a medical company, Gambro Healthcare, where he was responsible for the 24/7 production of a highly automated injection molding department.
 
Originally from Germany, Gerald came to the US the first time in 1988 through an exchange program with the German military. Gerald graduated from the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich with a degree in aircraft- & aerospace technology.

Ken Daming, Mark Andy

Ken Daming has been with Mark Andy for the past 20 years in various positions, including design engineer, service manager, and now fills the role of Product Manager. His education includes a BS in Engineering and an MBA.
