He obtained his B.A. in Chemistry from Fitchburg State College in 1974 and his Ph.D. in Physical Polymer Chemistry from Clark University in 1978. Prior to joining Heraeus in 2010, he had held Managerial positions in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, QA/QC and R&D at H.C. Starck, Inc. (2002-2010), ChemDesign Corporation (1990-2002) and James River Graphics (1980-1990). He has 34 years of experience in conductive films and has 14 scientific publications in the areas of macromolecular dynamics, electrophotographic imaging, organic semiconductors and one Patent in electrographic printing.
