In-mold electronics (IME) and TactoTek's advanced implementation of in-mold electronics that integrates electronic components, such as LEDs within molded structures (IMSE™), create new opportunities for manufacturers to increase their value to current customers and expand to new customers. In his presentation, Marko will discuss typical challenges to becoming an IMSE manufacturer based on his direct experiences with TactoTek licensees, and how they can be overcome. In addition, Marko will share an example of IMSE manufacturing automation that supports predictable, scalable mass production.
Speaker Biography (Marko Suo-Anttila)
Marko Suo-Anttila is responsible for TactoTek engineering and production. He is an international executive with a deep background in production operations, new technology development, quality management and program management, including roles with Lite-On, EB and Flextronics. Marko has been responsible for operations producing millions of units per month at the highest quality levels. In addition to leading TactoTek engineering, Marko works closely with TactoTek licensees as they transition to becoming IMSE™ manufacturers.
