Presentation Summary

The Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry is one of the largest global industries at $12+ trillion. Productivity in this industry, however, has stagnated over the past 50 years despite all the gains made in other industries. In fact, the construction site has not changed much since Roman times. By fully digitizing the building process, the entire AEC value chain can be automated which results in significant cost reduction, less material waste, and greater design freedom. DUS Architects / Actual have developed and 3D printed numerous building structures creating new digital produced products for the market using a specially formulated Henkel polyamide. Examples will be highlighted during the presentation.
