Can-Trace and politics

Can-Trace, the voluntary food traceability initiative in Canada is seeking more political support. Government ministers approved creation of a national traceability plan during their annual policy meeting in Summer 2005. However, the original government target of 80% traceability in the food supply chain is no longer considered realistic.

Food Traceability 2006 conference will be held on February 1-2 2006 in Dallas, USA. This hot topic is driven by health scares, bioterrorism and new laws. It will become the largest RFID application but we cover DNA and many other vital technologies as well. For further details please visit www.trackingfood.com External Link
