IDTechEx EV & Energy Storage Launchpad - closing date 26 February
Independent research and business intelligence experts IDTechEx focus on emerging technologies and providing powerful data to clients worldwide. On the cutting edge of new developments in sectors such as Hybrid and Pure Electric Vehicles, Wearables, Printed Electronics, and Energy Storage and Harvesting, IDTechEx proudly support start-ups in many ways. The latest initiative, the 'EVES Launchpad' focuses on providing a platform for start-ups in the Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage sector, by allowing young companies in these markets to exhibit free of charge at the IDTechEx Show! in Berlin, Germany on the 27-28th April. Start-ups wishing to apply for a Launchpad exhibition space can still submit an entry until the closing date on 26th February.

Chief Executive Raghu Das says, "These subjects are particularly strong in IDTechEx events, consultancy and reports. We prosper from being global experts on these subjects and this is a way in which we give something back. Previously we had a Launchpad for all our subjects but this one is now being split out so it becomes a compelling place to visit at the show. We embrace all in the Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage value chains - supercapacitors, batteries, materials, services... everything!"

Due to the popularity of the initial Launchpad initiative, IDTechEx have created the distinctive 'EVES Launchpad' to encourage start-ups in this exciting and fast moving sector. Those wishing to obtain a prestigious Launchpad exhibit space should be early-stage start-ups, universities, newly spun-out companies, research labs and government labs who can demonstrate a working prototype or product that highlights new advances in a relevant product in the Electric Vehicles and Energy Harvesting sectors. Each entry will be judged based on the demonstrator proposed to be shown, with a deadline for submissions being 26 February 2016.

The winning entries will receive a free exhibition space in the IDTechEx Launchpad zone, giving them access to 2,500 attendees, with many at CXO level. With over 100 members of the press in attendance, the EVES Launchpad is the place to showcase new Electric Vehicle or Energy Storage technology to a worldwide audience.
