Fisker Inc.
Fisker, a Californian electric vehicle (EV) company, is working on commercialising a solid-state battery-powered version of its luxury car. The founder Henrik Fisker is extremely vocal about solid-state batteries, sharing a picture on LinkedIn where it can be inferred that LLZO is used as electrolyte; given the yellowish disks seen in the picture are semi-transparent, it could be that Fisker is using a composite electrolyte, where LLZO provides the bulk conductivity, and a polymer matrix smooths out any issues related to grain boundaries.

Autonomous Vehicle Trends & Milestones in 2022 & Expectations for 2023
They may not be ubiquitous yet, and the day-to-day advantages that they will start to provide may not be noticeable, but automated technologies across the automotive industry are starting to come of age. The 'robotaxi' industry is beginning to see more small commercial deployments. Autonomous trucks are on the cusp of real-world use, and next-generation sensor technologies are being deployed on vehicles that are for sale. This article covers some of the most exciting developments and milestones over the last year and makes predictions about what might come next year.

Metawave — Radar Antennas for the Autonomous Future
Metawave produces analogue beamforming antennas and control chips that are designed to make the most out of radar transceivers. The antennas focus the emission into a narrow fan shape, which is then vertically scanned. This improves range, angular resolution and field of view compared to a static antenna.

Uhnder: Digital Code Modulation Automotive Radar
Uhnder is a start up working on radar on chip technologies for automotive and other applications. Uhnder use a 28nm Silicon CMOS technology to construct a single chip with 192 virtual channels giving high imaging potential. Uhnder has also moved away from the widely frequency modulated continuous wave emission pattern in facour of digital code modulation, this brings increased performance and robustness to interference.
