OLEDWorks LLC has announced that it reached an agreement with Royal Philips, to buy selected parts of its OLED light source components business.

Brochier Technologies has developed a process to weave optical fibers. It became a separate company in 2007 and is currently located in Villeurbanne, near Lyon, France. Lightex technology consists of the weaving of optical fibers with lateral lighting, connected to LED to realise flexible or rigid illuminated surfaces.
