Michiel Hartman and Taco Anema established QWIC in 2006 after an inspirational bike ride from Beirut to Beijing. QWIC is now the bestselling e-scooter brand in The Benelux and a market leader in the fast growing electric scooter market. It is a top 10 e-bike seller.

QWIC is a Dutch brand. It develops, produces and commoditizes lightweight electric bikes primarily for the urban market. At its head office in Amsterdam a team of 26 members of staff works on the development, production and sales of lightweight electric bicycles. The innovative electrical bicycles are distributed to around 350 shops in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.
