TEGway is a developer and manufacturer of flexible thermoelectric modules and systems for power generation and cooling. TEGway Co. was founded in September 2014 as a spin-off of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
After two years of research effort, we have successfully completed the fabrication of large size engineering samples of flexible theromoelectric module (7 cm X 8 cm) in Fall 2016. The engineering samples demonstrate their performances are comparable to those of existing bulk type modules and the fabrication processes are commercially/technically feasible.

TEGway are a company working with thermoelectric generator technology. The company was originally spun out based on work from a professor at KAIST in Korea. The company was founded in 2014, and employs around 10 staff in January 2020.

Tegway's flexible thermoelectric device for sensing
TEGway have developed a flexible thermoelectric device used, in this example, to measure gases and temperature within a steam pipe through their sensors. The sensor itself is powered by the heat generated by the pipe that is being measured.
