TDK

In December 2017, TDK began shipping samples of the CeraCharge battery, marking its entry into the solid-state battery market. CeraCharge was developed by TDK's subsidiary EPCOS and is based on a solid-state oxide electrolyte. The battery utilizes multilayer ceramic technology similar to that used in multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs).
