Graphenano
A self-funded Spanish start-up producing large-sized CVD graphene and carbon nanofibre using home-made equipment. Graphenano was established in 2012 and developed its production technology with University of Castilla La Mancha. Their business model is to work directly with potential end users (e.g., composite or ceramic makers) to bring end products onto the market. They can produce 10 sqm/day of CVD graphene and 30 Kg per day of carbon nanofibre.

Angstron Materials
Dr Bor Jang founded the company in 2007 and prior to this he had started Nanotek Instruments in 2002. Dr Bor Jang is a well-known figure in the field of graphene and claims to be the first to file patents on the material. Angstron Materials produces graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide powdres.
Angstron Materials currently has a 20 tonne per year production capacity (by powdre weight). Their production technique is based on oxidization-reduction. Indeed, they sell both graphene oxide and graphene powdres.
Recently, they have started moving up the value chain and are developing silicon anode materials for Li-ion batteries. This is because, as Mr Beech puts it, no one is going to get rich from supplying graphene alone.

Global marine electric vehicle market to reach $6.3bn in 2023
Virtually all autonomous underwater vehicles are electric for practical reasons - the internal combustion engine ICE is not a realistic option. Not so on the surface, where the ICE is the favoured means of propulsion. However, even here, there is now a strong move to hybrid and pure-electric drivetrains for many powerful reasons, so it is timely to look at marine electric vehicles in general.

Disputed sales of electric cars: the truth behind the confusion
How is it that some analysts put pure-electric car sales at hundreds of thousands in 2012 whereas others report a mere 60-65,000? At analysts IDTechEx, we feel that a lack of rigor is largely to blame because there are cars homologated as such and car-like vehicles that are not homologated as cars.
