Höegh Autoliners Commits to Using Green Fuels by 2030

Höegh Autoliners has joined the First Movers Coalition to send a strong market demand signal for the emerging technologies essential for a net-zero transition and has committed to running at least 5 % of deep sea operations on either green ammonia or green methanol by 2030. Robotic Capsule Could Administer Insulin

One reason that it's so difficult to deliver large protein drugs orally is that these drugs can't pass through the mucus barrier that lines the digestive tract. This means that insulin and most other drugs consisting of proteins or nucleic acids have to be injected or administered in a hospital. A new drug capsule may one day be able to replace those injections. The capsule has a robotic cap that spins and tunnels through the mucus barrier when it reaches the small intestine, allowing drugs carried by the capsule to pass into cells lining the intestine.

World's Largest Flow Battery Energy Storage Station Connected to Grid

The 100 MW Dalian Flow Battery Energy Storage Peak-shaving Power Station, with the largest power and capacity in the world so far, was connected to the grid in Dalian, China and it will be put into operation in mid-October. As the first national, large-scale chemical energy storage demonstration project approved, it will eventually produce 200 megawatts (MW)/800 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity.
