IDTechEx contacted Ravid Shineberg, Business Development Manager at Cognata at CES 2022. Cognata is an Israeli start-up providing the automotive simulation platform where virtual cars travel virtual roads in digital twins. The company was established in 2016 and now employs about 50 people.

At CES 2022, IDTechEx had a relatively brief conversation with Dima Gazda, CEO at Esper Bionics. Esper Bionics is a pioneer engineering company focused on prostheses, mechatronics, AI, and IoT technologies for Human Augmentation. On the way to implanted electronics, they connect robotic prostheses under their platform to enhance the control and usability.

IDTechEx contacted Lindsay Aust, Marketing at Ubtech Robotics Corp Ltd. at CES 2022. Ubtech is a global AI and humanoid robotics company founded in 2012, established and based in Shenzhen, China, being one of the leading robotics companies in China.

IDTechEx contacted Lei Zhang, marketing manager at Pudu Robotics at CES 2022. Pudu Robotics is a start-up based in Shenzhen, China, established in 2016. The company is focused on indoor service, disinfection and delivery robots.

The company is focused on autonomous drones, now have two types of products - passenger electric flying vehicle and heavy-duty cargo delivery drone.

Immuno-CRISPR Assay Could Help Diagnose Kidney Transplant Rejection

When a patient receives a kidney transplant, doctors carefully monitor them for signs of rejection in several ways, including biopsy. However, this procedure is invasive and can only detect issues at a late stage. Now, researchers have developed a CRISPR-based assay that can sensitively and non-invasively detect a biomarker of acute kidney rejection in urine. This could someday help diagnose rejection earlier and without a biopsy.
