HongKong Beida Jade Bird Display Ltd.

Jade Bird Display (JBD) is a start-up founded in 2015 and headquartered in Hong Kong. Its core technology is the monochromatic micro-displays, enabled by wafer-level mass manufacturable approach of monolithic hybrid integration of µLED arrays on Si ICs.

Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI)

ITRI's display group, the Electronic and Optoelectronic System Research Laboratories (EOSRL) is working on µLED displays. ITRI/EOSRL has been collaborating with LED driver design company Macroblock, PlayNitride and Mikro Mesa Technology. The mass production will be done by Macroblock, which is expected to happen in 2020.

GLO

Glō established in 2010 in Sweden, is a fabless company based on research performed at Lund University. Glō then moved to Silicon Valley in 2012.

EpiPix

EpiPix is a spin-out from University of Sheffield in the UK on January 31, 2020. The company develops and commercialize micro-LED technology for AR/VR devices, 3D sensing and LiFi.
